С помощью мертвого колдуна Хузии, поднятого из могилы черной магией, король Кромвелль завоевывает соседнее королевство Эдан, присоединяя его к своим землям. Однако воинам узурпатора не удается добраться до принца Талона, который бежит к бывшим союзникам своего отца. Спустя годы повзрослевший Талон возвращается в Эдан в образе наемника, продающего свой волшебный меч с тремя лезвиями всем желающим. В этот момент в столице бывшего королевства готовится восстание во главе с сыном первого министра бывшего короля Микой и его сестрой Аланой. Но предательство отдает предводителя бунтовщиков в руки Кромвеля. Талон соглашается помочь мятежникам освободить своего лидера. Но ни он, ни Кромвелль, ни Алана не подозревают, что мертвый колдун Хузия не вернулся в могилу и намерен вернуть себе былое могущество.
